While you might enjoy having a card with your hobby emblazoned across it, you should consider at what cost you are getting this benefit. Shop and compare and you will likely find that this turns out to be a rather expensive benefit indeed. And cards that provide the benefit of donations to worthy organizations should be looked at closely as well. Many of them are simply clever scams which do not significantly benefit the organization in question. In most cases you would provide a greater service to that organization by getting a cash back bonus card and sending the money to the organization of your choice directly. Not all such special interest cards are a bad deal, but the watchword here is caveat emptor. Shop around and compare these cards with each other and with the other types of credit cards out there and choose the one that best suits your needs.
